Plivit Trade was founded in 1998 in Västervik, Sweden but was initially a small grocery store with its own production of smoked meat. Over the years, there was a demand for products from the Balkans and for quality products, so the company changed direction to become a distributor. Today, Plivit Trade is Scandinavia's largest distributor of food from the Balkans. The range includes over 1000 products from the biggest brands as well as our own brand Plivit. Over 300 of our products are market leaders in each category. Our goods are distributed throughout Scandinavia. The head office is located in Västervik, where about 30 employees work. Here, we work daily to help our consumers expand their range from the Balkans, customer service, new projects, product development, quality assurance and to ensure that our products are available in as many stores as possible.

Since 2001, we own and have both our head office and warehouse in Västervik. Our dry warehouse is about 15,000 m2 in size. In 2018, it was invested in a state-of-the-art refrigerator and a cold store where there is room for about 1,200 pallets in each warehouse. Our warehouse is digitized where our warehouse pickers work with scanners. We work both with direct delivery to the store and with central deliveries. Our deliveries take a maximum of 3 days and are 100% traceable. We only use and work with the largest delivery companies such as DHL, DB Schenker, Frigoscandia and Postnord. We handle about 14,000 tons every year!
